1 cup torn fresh spinach
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup chopped seeded plum tomatoes
2 green onions, chopped
1-1/2 teaspoons dill weed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds ground beef
8 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight 4-in. patties. , Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Serve on buns.

4 green onions, sliced
1/2 tsp. olive oil
2 cups torn fresh spinach leaves
dash freshly ground black pepper
2 frozen BOCA Grilled Vegetable Veggie Burgers
2 onion sandwich rolls, partially split
2 tomato slices
2 Tbsp. ATHENOS Reduced Fat Crumbled Feta Cheese with Basil & Tomato

Steps:

  • Cook and stir onions in hot oil in nonstick skillet on medium 3 min. Add spinach; cook and stir 1 min. or until wilted. Stir in pepper. Remove from heat; cover to keep warm.
  • Microwave burgers as directed on package.
  • Fill rolls with tomatoes, burgers, spinach mixture and cheese.

I made these tonight with some lamb mince, and a few other ingredients that needed using. I think they turned out really well, with lots of nice flavours, so I'm writing it all down to make them again.

500 g ground lamb
1 (200 g) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
100 g feta cheese, crumbled
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped of fresh mint
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
salt & freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Mix the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Form into 8 patties about 8cm (3inches) in diameter.
  • Pan fry, grill or broil about 8 minutes each side, or until cooked through and done to your liking.

This is a great hamburger for the grill. Feta cheese gives it a rich and creamy taste.

1 pound lean ground beef
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried parsley
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup crumbled feta cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate.
  • Knead together the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized balls; flatten to make thin patties. Place about 1/4 cup of feta cheese onto each of four of the patties. Top each of the patties with cheese with one of the patties without; press the edges together to seal the cheese into the center.
  • Cook on the preheated grill until the burgers are cooked to your desired degree of doneness, 7 to 8 minutes per side for well done. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1/3 cup pitted Greek olives, coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
