So nice to have breakfast all ready when you wake up! Peaches seem to be our favorite flavor in this oatmeal, but any fruit works. Make it your own by adding your favorite toppings like chopped walnuts, cream, additional brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, etc.

3 cups water
1 cup steel-cut oats
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup diced fresh peaches

Steps:

  • Place water, oats, milk, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt into an oven-safe bowl. Place the bowl into the bottom of a slow cooker. Fill the slow cooker with water up to the water level in the oatmeal bowl. Cover the slow cooker.
  • Cook on Low until oats are tender, 6 to 8 hours.
  • Stir in peaches with their juices. Cover and continue to cook on Low until warmed, about 30 minutes. Serve.

1 1/2 cups steel-cut oats
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
6 cups unsweetened coconut milk (from the carton)
6 large peaches, chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
1 can coconut cream*

Steps:

  • Spray or grease slow cooker with coconut oil.
  • Add all ingredients to your slow cooker. Stir.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.**
  • Give it a good stir for about 5 minutes or until ingredients come together and thicken (be patient, this may take a few minutes)
  • Place desired serving in a bowl and top with a scoop of coconut cream to serve.
  • Store leftovers in fridge for up to 1 week.
  • To reheat add a splash of coconut milk and heat up in microwave.

2 large peaches (sliced (about 2 cups) - or 28-ounce can sliced peaches, drained)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup steel cut oats
2 cups milk
1 cup water
1 Tablespoon vanilla

Steps:

  • In a glass bowl, mix peaches, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and oats.
  • Add milk, water, and vanilla. Stir gently to mix.
  • Place bowl inside slow cooker.
  • Pour enough water outside the bowl (inside the slow cooker) to come halfway up the side of the bowl. You are creating a "double boiler" effect inside the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Serve immediately.

1 cup diced Del Monte® Sliced Yellow Cling Peaches in Light Syrup
2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. light butter spread
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Steps:

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, lightly mix all the ingredients together.
  • Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour oatmeal mixture into slow cooker and place lid on top. Set for low 4 hours. (See note below!)
  • The oats will be soft when finished.
  • To serve, pour milk over the top. Enjoy!

4 cups frozen peach slices
2 cups steel-cut oats
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup flaked coconut
2 cups golden raisins
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 cup fresh blueberries
Honey, for drizzling

Steps:

  • Place the frozen peaches, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, salt and 8 cups water in the bowl of a slow cooker. Stir, set to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours or up to overnight.
  • Meanwhile, toast the sliced almonds and flaked coconut separately in dry nonstick skillets over medium heat, shaking the pans frequently to ensure an even toast, until golden and fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes. Let cool. Store, covered, until serving.
