SKOR BAR ICE CREAM -- BEN & JERRY STYLE
I adore Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and I adore Skor bars. This marries two of my favorite foods into one uber-ice cream!

Steps:
- Freeze the Skor bars.
- Beat the eggs until fluffy.
- Slowly beat in the sugar.
- Add the cream, the half-and-half and the vanilla and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into your ice-cream maker and freeze.
- While the ice cream is freezing take the frozen Skor bars and put them in a plastic bag and break them into small pieces with a knife handle or a meat tenderizing mallet.
- When the ice cream is done, remove it from the container and mix in the Skor bar pieces.
- Pour into a Tupperware and freeze.
- Note: Most of the Skor bars should be crushed into crumbs, but stop abusing the candy when there are still some 1 inch and 1/2 inch chunks left.
- Another note: Ben& Jerry's ice cream is known for it's denseness and lack of air.
- The less air in the ice cream, the thicker the consistency.
- You may find that this recipe fills up your ice cream maker more than you are used to.
- One last note, I promise: You can try experimenting with this recipe, substituting Heath bars, Reese's Peanture Butter Cups, Oreos, Kit Kats, M&m's and any other fun stuff for the Skor bars.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine first amount of butter, brown sugar and flour.
- Press this mixture evenly into an ungreased 13x9 baking pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until crust is golden.
- Place baking pan on a wire rack to cool while you make the filling; leave oven on.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, heat milk and the 2 tbsp butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened-- it will take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes.
- Spread this over baked crust in baking pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden; remove from oven but leave oven on.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over top; return to oven for 2 minutes, or until the chips soften and are shiny.
- Remove from oven (turn oven off now) and spread the chocolate evenly; then sprinkle the Skor bits over the chocolate, pressing down with a very light touch to embed the Skor bits into the chocolate.
- You could cut them into bars right away, but they will cut easier if allowed to chill in the refrigerator for at least a few minutes.
- Best served at room temperature, not cold.

SKOR OR HEATH BAR CAKE
Tomorrow (December 3) is my DH's birthday, and he requested a Skor 2-layer cake. After looking at several recipes on 'Zaar, this is what I ended up making. It's more of a process than a recipe, though. I used milk chocolate cake mix and milk chocolate frosting, but you can use any variety. We haven't tasted it yet; I will post an update when we do.

Steps:
- Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the box for either two 8-inch or 9-inch layers. This step can be done a day in advance, provided that the layers are completely cooled before wrapping in nonstick aluminum foil.
- Assemble the cake by placing one layer on the end destination plate/platter. Spread the top ONLY with 1/2 of the caramel topping, allowing a little bit to dribble down the sides.
- Place the second layer on top of the caramel-topped first layer. Spread the remaining caramel on top of the second layer.
- Frost the cake with the chocolate frosting. It is okay (even preferable) for the caramel and chocolate frosting to blend a bit.
- On top of the frosting on the top layer, lightly press in the toffee bits until the top is coated. Although I didn't do so, you can also press toffee bits into the sides if enough remain.
