SCHOOL HOUSE HAMBURGER GRAVY
This hamburger gravy is an old favorite to many of us , who remember the ground beef over rice or mashed instant potatoes of the good ol' days...LOL Photo from Betty Crocker-not the recipe though.

Steps:
- 1. Place hamburger and onion in a large skillet. Crumble and cook over medium high heat; add Worcestershire sauce, cook until evenly browned. Remove from heat and sprinkle flour over cooked hamburger. Stir until evenly coated and all the fat is absorbed.
- 2. Place skillet over medium heat; add half the milk and stir until gravy is thicken . Add remaining milk until desired consistency has been reached and gravy comes to a boil Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- 3. Note: Sometimes I like to add a can of mushroom soup to this or a can of peas undrained. Great over waffles too!

- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup, milk, mushrooms and bouillon. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until heated through, stirring occassionally. Serve over mashed potatoes.
