SANGRIA FRUIT SALAD

1/4 cup orange juice (from squeezing the membranes)
1/4 cup rose wine
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup red grapes
1 cup raspberries
1 cup quartered strawberries, tops removed
2 oranges, segmented
1 pink grapefruit, segmented
2 tablespoons julienned mint

Steps:

  • Whisk together the orange juice, rose wine and honey in a small bowl until combined.
  • Add the grapes, raspberries, strawberries, orange segments and grapefruit segments to a large bowl and pour the rose wine mixture over top. Stir together gently, and then allow to sit in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with the mint right before serving.

1 - orange, seeded & sliced, frozen
1 - apple, cored & sliced into wedges, frozen
1 cup(s) strawberries, fresh, trimmed & sliced, frozen
1 cup(s) assorted seedless grapes, frozen
1 bottle(s) white wine, dry
1 cup(s) white grape juice
2 cup(s) 7-up, sprite, sierra mist or any other lemon-lime pop or soda

Steps:

  • Prepare fruit; then freeze 4 hours or until ready to serve. NOTE: The frozen fruit adds flavor without watering your drink down.
  • In a extra large pitcher, add wine & grape juice; stir gently. Refrigerate 5 hours or until ready to serve.
  • When serving, add in 7-up & frozen fruit & enjoy!
