- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Coat the snap peas lightly with olive oil. Season with sea salt and lots of black pepper. Roast (in a single layer on a baking sheet or divide between 2 sheets) until browned at the edges but still with some bite left to them, 10 to 12 minutes.
QUICK ASIAN SUGAR SNAP PEAS
Steps:
- In a large skillet, saute the garlic and ginger in oil for 1 minute over medium heat.
- Add sugar snap peas and soy sauce, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, add the sesame oil, and stir.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.

- Preheat oven broiler, and move rack to top position.
- Place the snap peas in a baking dish, and drizzle olive oil and toss to coat. Spread the snap peas in a single layer.
- Broil the snap peas about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, brown sugar, and sesame seeds in a large bowl. When snap peas are removed from the oven, toss them immediately with the sauce.
