1/2 stick (1/4 cup) salted butter
12 ounces marshmallows (about 5 cups mini marshmallows)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons bourbon or other whiskey
6 cups crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
Nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and cinnamon and stir until melted and smooth, 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the bourbon. Add the cereal in two parts. Fold to combine.
  • Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking pan and a nonstick spatula with cooking spray. Press the cereal mixture into the pan and press down using the prepared spatula. Let cool completely before cutting.

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for the pan
½ cup Maker's Mark® Bourbon
1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
4 cups crisp rice cereal
2 cups mini pretzels

Steps:

  • 1. Generously butter a 13 by 9-inch shallow baking dish. 2. In a large saucepot, bring the bourbon to a boil over high heat. Boil until reduced to 2 tablespoons, about 2 minutes. Add the butter, reduce the heat to medium-low, and stir until melted. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. 3. Add the cereal and pretzels. Stir gently until evenly coated. Immediately transfer to the prepared pan and press firmly into an even layer. Cool completely, then cut into 12 bars.
