1 pkg. (16 oz.) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)
1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 cup KRAFT Blue Cheese Dressing
1/4 cup KRAFT Natural Blue Cheese Crumbles
6 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

Steps:

  • Toss coleslaw blend with peppers and dressing in large bowl.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Top with cheese and bacon just before serving.

This is a nice side dish for the 4th of July or anytime you want a cole slaw that is a bit different. I got this recipe from a friend and every time I make it someone asks for the recipe. Its great to take to a picnic or churh supper. If you like blue cheese you will like this cole slaw.

Number Of Ingredients 5

6 cup(s) cole slaw mix (ready cut cabbage, try to find a package that is mostly white or light in color)
16 - cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2-3/4 cup(s) cole slaw dressing (marzetti brand is great)
3/4 cup(s) crumbled blue cheese, divided
1/2 cup(s) crumbled cooked (crisp) bacon

Steps:

  • In a serving bowl mix all ingredients except 1/4 cup blue cheese and bacon. Refrigerate for 2 hours or up to overnight. Just before serving sprinkle with remaining blue cheese and bacon.
  • This recipe can be doubled or tripled.
