I used to cook for a school in Northern Wisconsin and this is the French dressing that I made from scratch. "A winner" it soon became and the kids loved it. Steps:
- 1. Place vinegar, onion and garlic in a blender or food processor and puree
- 2. Take the remaining ingredients and place into a (1) one qt canning jar, add onion puree and shake until well blended.
- 3. Make this dressing a day in advance of serving, the flavors only get better with age. This keeps 2 weeks in the fridge.
