This was my step father Bobby's absolute favorite pie, and we lost him to cancer in 2009. He loved it so much I had to make two; one being just for him! I still make it as it brings a 'little bit of Bobby' back to the table. I dedicate this recipe to him. RIP Bobby John Love

Steps:
- In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
- Fold in cool whip until mixed well. Then fold in drained pineapple and nuts(opt).
- Spread into pie crust. Cover and refridgerate at least 1-2 hours before serving. Best if refridgerated overnight!
