Waldorf Tuna Salad image

I like this recipe because it dresses up tuna salad with apples,raisins,dates and walnuts..then coats it all with a tangy dressing. 340 calories in 3/4 cup. You could use cooked cubed chicken or canned chicken.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 can(s) (6oz ea.) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
1 large red apple-chopped
1/3 c chopped celery
1/3 c chopped dates
1/4 c chopped walnuts
DRESSING
1/2 c fat free plain yogart
1/4 c reduced fat mayonnaise or miracle whip
EXTRAS TO PLATE WITH
4 large lettuce leaves
1/4 c shredded reduced fat monterey jack chees

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl,combine the first 6 ingredients. Combine yogurt,and mayonnaise; add to the tuna mixture and toss to coat. Serve on lettuce leaves; sprinkle with cheese.
