This is very healthy. The only red meat we eat is whatever my husband can harvest. And during hunting season, we have plenty of venison.

Steps:
- 1. Saute the bell pepper, onion and jalapeno peppers in canola oil or olive oil; add venison and cook until the meat is done, not pink. Pour all the beans in a colander and wash them, and dump them in the pot - Then add everything else and let it cook covered about 30 minutes on low; then take the top off and let it simmer for about 15 minutes to thicken up.
- 2. I served this over brown rice.
