Ultimate Pancakes image

These are no doubt, the best pancakes I have ever had. I really enjoy the flavor profile that the vanilla adds.

Yield 8 4" pancakes

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Whisk wet ingredients.
  • Add dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  • Heat pan over med heat.
  • Ladle into pan and flip when tops are bubbly.
