Turkey-Macaroni Salad image

Number Of Ingredients 14

2 1/2 cups turkeys cubed cooked
1 (8-ounce) package macaroni cooked
8 ounces Swiss cheese cut into strips
1 cup celery coarsely chopped
1/4 cup green onion sliced
2 tablespoons pimiento diced
1 cup mayonnaise commercial or Basic
1 tablespoon mustard prepared
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
1/4 cup cashew nuts chopped, walnuts or almonds
1 tablespoon butter real
lettuce leaves

Steps:

  • Combine turkey, macaroni, cheese, celery, green onions and pimiento. Blend together mayonnaise, mustard, milk, salt and pepper. Toss with turkey mixture. Cover and refrigerate to blend flavors. Sauté nuts in butter. To serve, arrange lettuce on individual plates, spoon turkey mixture into center and sprinkle with nuts.
