Tuna Taylor Salad image

A little different delicious variation of a tuna salad sandwich. This recipe comes from Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook. The recipe was submited my Sherry Hyatt of Kingsport, TN The recipe says it serves 8, but I usually only get four sandwiches out of a single recipe

1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 dash pepper
16 slices rye bread

Steps:

  • In a bowl combine the tuna, cheese, celery, onion, mayonnaise, sour cream, and pepper.
  • Spread on the bread and serve at once.
