TORTELLINI WITH SOUR CREAM GORGONZOLA SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 lb spinach tortellini (or cheese) cooked and drained
1 Tbs walnut oil
3 oz Gorgonzola cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sour creeam
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Steps:

  • Toss the cooked tortellini with the walnut oil and chill. Blend together the Gorgonzola, milk, sour cream, garlic. lemon juice and salt. Just before serving, stir in the walnuts and pour into a serving dish. Place the sauce on a large platter and surrond with tortellini. Provide skewers or toothpicks for dipping.
