Tootie's Creamy Pea and Bacon Farfalle image

This easy pasta dish comes together quickly and is absolutely delicious. It is a hit with grownups and little ones alike!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pound(s) farfalle
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
2 small shallots
1 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
1 cup(s) chicken broth
1 cup(s) sugar snap peas
1 cup(s) frozen green peas
1 cup(s) grated parmesean
8 slice(s) bacon, chopped
1 cup(s) heavy cream

Steps:

  • Get a pot of water boiling for the farfalle, cook farfalle al dente.
  • Meanwhile, heat 2tbs olive oil in skillet large enough to house all ingredients eventually.
  • Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy.
  • Remove bacon from pan. Add diced shallots and garlic to pan and cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Add ½ cup chicken broth to pan and sugar snap peas. Cook two minutes.
  • Add pasta, bacon, peas, parm, remaining broth, and cream to skillet. Cook until consistency is thickened and the ingredients are well blended.
