The World's Best Quiche image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/4 cup Chopped leeks
1 tablespoon Butter
1/2 cup Smoked salmon
1/4 cup Dill
1 sheet Unbaked pastry shell (8 inches)
1 cup Half and Half
3 scoop Eggs
1/4 cup Flour
1 pinch salt, pepper, nutmeg
1 cup Shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Sauté leeks in butter until tender. Add salmon and dill and toss lightly. Turn into bottom of prepared pastry shell.
  • Combine half and half, eggs, flour, salt pepper and nutmeg to taste and mix until smooth. Pour into pie shell over salmon mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until custard is set.
  • Allow to set for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve.
