Terri's Spicy Vegetable Smoothie image

This is so healthy and delicious, I could drink it every day. Compare to commercial vegetable juice; this has no added salt and doesn't need it. Switch up your veggies, fruits and spices and try different combinations.

Number Of Ingredients 12

½ cup fresh spinach, or more to taste
1 carrot, roughly chopped
1 rib celery
1 small tomato, halved
½ apple, cored
½ lime, juiced
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled
1 pinch salt-free seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash® Southwest Chipotle), or to taste
1 dash hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot ®), or to taste
1 dash Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
water to cover

Steps:

  • Combine spinach, carrot, celery, tomato, apple, lime juice, ground flaxseed, ginger, seasoning blend, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a blender; add enough water to cover. Blend mixture until smooth.
