TERIYAKI STEAK ROLL-UPS image

1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut diagonally into very thin strips
1 6-ounce can waterchestnuts, canned

Steps:

  • Combine onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, ginger and salt. Coat meat strips evenly in this mixture and marinate for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain strips and wrap around water chestnuts, securing with a toothpick. Arrange on a shallow baking dish and cook in a microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Rest 5 minutes after cooking. Serve hot.
