TAPENADE (NATALIE'S MUFFALETTA-STYLE TOPPING) image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1-1/2c black pitted ripe olives, drained & coarsely chopped (a 6 oz can)
1-1/2c pimiento-stuffed olives, rinsed, drained & coarsely chopped (used can for black olives, filled up with green olives)
2 T-spoons chopped fresh basil OR 1 t-spoon dried basil
1/4c finely chopped roasted red peppers
3 T-spoons olive oil
1 T-spoon red wine vinegar
1/4 t-spoon garlic pepper (OR more to taste)Did not used. Used some garlic power & fresh pepper.

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients. Use to top grilled fish, steak, chicken, or use in sandwiches as a condiment. Makes about 2-1/3c
