Tapenade image

This is the original recipe for tapenade provencale. The recipe makes 250g of tapenade, so the amount of 10 serving is more an educated guess.

Number Of Ingredients 8

7 oz black olives, pitted
3 1/2 oz anchovy
7 oz capers
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp cognac
pepper, to taste
1 tsp lemon juice and peel
herbes de provence (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and process into a fine paste
  • 2. Serve cool with baguette or crackers
