THIS IS SOMETHING I MADE UP TO DO WITH A CAN OF TAMALES ONE DAY. IT WAS VERY GOOD & SO SIMPLE & FAST. I DO NOT HAVE THE TALENT IT TAKES TO MAKE HOMEMADE TAMALES ..SO I BUY THEM IN THE CAN. THEY ARE GOOD..BUT THEY JUST NEED SOMETHING...SO I MADE A CASSEROLE WITH THEM!!

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 large can of tamales
1 large can of chili
3 c cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. PLACE THE TAMALES IN A GREASED BAKING DISH (TAKE THEM OUT OF THE PAPERS)
  • 2. COVER THE TAMALES WITH THE CAN OF CHILI
  • 3. COVER WITH THE CHEESE OF YOUR CHOICE
  • 4. BAKE @ 350 FOR 30 MIN'S OR UNTIL IT'S BUBBLY ...
  • 5. THERE ARE ALOT OF VARIATIONS YOU CAN DO WITH THIS CASSEROLE....SUCH AS..ADD REFRIED BEANS...A LAYER OF SPANISH RICE...TOP WITH TORTILLA CHIPS...TOP WITH SALSA..
