Taco Chili image

You can make this recipe as hot and spicy as you like. You can also add water and make it more like soup. Always a hit for any kind of function. Not a lot of preparation time and perfect for Supper Bowl Sunday!!! :) Enjoy!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 pound(s) ground beef. (ground turkey if you want it to be healthy)
1 medium onion
1/2 cup(s) chopped green peppers
3 can(s) bush's chili beans, or (1lb bag of dried pinto beans precooked if you want it to be healthy)
1 can(s) corn, or (1 lb frozen corn precooked if you want it to be healthy)
3 can(s) can diced tomatoes with chili peppers. i use ro-tel diced tomatoes with green chilies 10oz per can. (you can get regular diced tomatoes if you don't want the heat from the chili pepper.
1 package(s) dry all-season ranch dressing
1 package(s) taco seasoning mix
dash - salt and black pepper to taste
8 ounce(s) sour cream (fat free sour cream to make it healthy)
1 package(s) mexican blend shredded cheese
1 package(s) tostitos scoops (family size)

Steps:

  • Cook and season meat with salt and pepper. Drain off grease. Saute onion and green peppers together. Put meat, onion and peppers in crock pot and mix well.
  • Add chili beans, corn, and tomatoes. Mix well.
  • Add taco seasoning and dry ranch dressing. Blend ingredient well and cook 1 hour on medium setting
  • top your bowl of chili off with sour cream and shredded cheeze, Use Tostitos scoops instead of a spoon.
