Sweet Potato Pie Coffee Creamer image

This creamer is a welcomed addition to coffee cups not only in the autumn, but all year long.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 c whole milk
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 c mashed sweet potatoes, add 1/2c if you like more
1/2 tsp molasses
1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
1 strip of orange peel

Steps:

  • 1. Push mashed sweet potato through a sieve for very smooth mash.
  • 2. Place all ingredients save orange peel in a saucepan on medium heat. Whisk thoroughly for an even liquid. Then place in orange peel.
  • 3. Lower heat to low and cover, cooking for 20-30 minutes.
  • 4. Strain through a sieve and pour into a ceramic creamer.
  • 5. Can be used immediately in your favorite hot beverage. Chill first for use in cold beverage. Store in refrigerator.
