Strawberry Cake image

This is a very moist cake, and very good! Hope you enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 box(es) white cake mix
1 box(es) strawberry jello
1 cup(s) sliced strawberries
1/2 cup(s) strawberry juice
3 tablespoon(s) flour - i use self rising
1 cup(s) crisco oil
4 large eggs
ICING
1 box(es) powdered sugar
1 stick(s) butter, softened
1 cup(s) strawberries
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- make icing thick enough to spread on cake, strawberry juice can be added to thin

Steps:

  • NOTE: I use frozen strawberries that have been thawed, and drained to have the juice.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Pour into prepared cake pan. You can use a 9 X 13 or 2 - round cake pans
  • Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Allow cake to cool.
  • ICING: Mix all ingredients together. If needed you can add some Strawberry juice to thin some.
  • Spread on cool cake, and ENJOY!!
