Strawberries-n-cream french toast bake image

A dessert like french toast that I make especailly for the grandchildren. I happen to love it too, lol.

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 large eggs
1 cup(s) mashed strawberries
1 - can, eight count, cinnamon buns w/ frosting, like pillsbury
1/4 cup(s) whipping cream
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
3/4 cup(s) white chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375. Lightly spray an 8" x 8" pan w/ cooking spray. Separate the buns into 8 rolls. Set aside icing. Cut each roll into 8 equal pieces.
  • Place pieces into pan. In lg bowl, beat eggs. Beat in berries, whipping cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in white chocolate chips.
  • Pour over cut up buns in pan. Bake, uncovered 20 mins, or until golden brown. Microwave icing 10 seconds. Drizzle over cooled french toast. Cut into squares.
