Stove top Hamburger Mac Casserole image

I have been making this for more years than I can remember and it is always loved! Even picky kids enjoy it! Nothing beats a fast, one pan meal that is delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pound(s) lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 clove(s) garlic, pressed or minced
1 teaspoon(s) seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
8 ounce(s) wagon wheel pasta, or other small pasta shape
1 package(s) ranch seasoning mix
3 cup(s) beef broth
1 cup(s) sour cream
8 ounce(s) shredded cheese blend for mac n' cheese

Steps:

  • If you can't find preshredded mac n' cheese blend, then substitute 1 cup shredded cheddar and 1 cup shredded velveeta.
  • In a large deep skillet cook ground beef, onion, seasoning salt, and black pepper until beef is cooked through, stirring to break up meat.
  • Add pasta, broth, and ranch seasoning mix. Bring to a boil, cover, cook over medium heat for 8 minutes stirring after 4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add sour cream and cheese. Stir well. Serve immediately and enjoy!
