STEAKHOUSE SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 medium sweet onions
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp fresh thyme
Grilled flank Steak 1 lb
2 beefsteak tomatoes
1 small head iceberg lettuce or romaine lettuce
2 oz crumbled blue cheese
1/4 C classic vinaigrette

Steps:

  • Cut Sweet onions into 1/4 inch slices, toss to coat with 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp thyme leaves keeping onion slices intact. grill alongside Flank Steak. In same bowl, combine tomatoes cut into 1/2 inch slices, remaining olive oil and thyme, place on grill with onions and steak. Cook veggies 10 mins or until browned and tender turning once. Arrange onions and tomato slices alternating on 4 plates. Slice flank steak into thin slices against grain. Divide among the plates along with lettuce. Crumble blue cheese over them and drizzle with Vinaigrette.
