Steps:
- Cook and stir onion and garlic in hot butter until tender but not browned. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta nutmeg and pepper: simmer about 5 minutes. Add chopped spinach and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasonialy. Season to taste with salt, if desired. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 1/2 cups or 8 servings.
