Spinach Artichoke Dip image

Reaaally cheesy...in a good way! This is great with pita triangles or hunks of bread or crackers or chips or -- well, you get the idea!

Number Of Ingredients 11

8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
1/4 cup(s) grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup(s) grated romano cheese
1 clove(s) garlic, peeled and minced
1/2 teaspoon(s) dried basil
1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic salt
- salt and pepper, to taste
14 ounce(s) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/2 cup(s) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1/4 cup(s) shredded mozzarella

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a small baking dish. (I use Corningware 9" round.)
  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, garlic, basil, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Gently stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in preheated oven 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned. Serve with chips, hunks of bread, pita triangles, crackers, etc.
