Spicy Salmon image

4 salmon steaks
FLOUR MIXTURE:
3 tablespoons soy flour
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
MARINADE:
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in a deep fryer. 2. Mix all ingredients for marinade in a bowl. Marinate salmon steaks for at least 30 minutes turning every 5-10 minutes. 3. After at least 30 minutes coat each salmon steak in the flour mixture completely and drop carefully into hot oil. (make sure there is enough oil to cover the steaks. Fry until brown and cooked. 4. Remove from oil and put on paper towel to soak excess oil.
