SPICY PORK WITH CABBAGE image

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb boneless pork
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp soy or ponzu
1/8 tsp pepper
1 head lettuce
1 small green bell pepper
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp cold water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp chili paste
1/4 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Cut pork into small pieces. Toss it with 1 tsp cornstarch, soy or ponzu & pepper, cover and refrigerate for 20 min. Heat wok or large pan. Add vegetable oil, pork and garlic; cook until pork is no longer pink. Add cabbage and bell pepper; stir fry 2 minutes. Add chili paste and chicken broth; heat to boil. Add cornstarch mixture; cook, stirring, until thickened, about 10 seconds.
