Spiced Pecans image

This is one my mom, Linda Whitehead, had published in a church cookbook. Once you start eating these it's very hard to stop.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 lb pecan halves
2 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp water
pinch of salt

Steps:

  • 1. Beat egg whites and water until frothy. Add pecans and stir well.
  • 2. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Fold into nut mixture until well coated.
  • 3. Bake on a buttered pan at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
