When I was growing up, my grandparents grew okra. We had this quite often growing up. When corn was in season, we would add some of that too!

Steps:
- 1. Rinse the okra; drain well, and pat dry. Remove the tips and stem ends. Set aside.
- 2. Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in the butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat until tender. Add the okra, tomato, and remaining ingredients.
- 3. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until the okra is tender, stirring occasionally.
