Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Someone asked for this recipe.. And I found it in a old cookbook.

Number Of Ingredients 12

3/4 c 3/4 cup butter or margarine, soften (i never use margarine, but it's in the cookbook) ick!
1 c light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
3 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 c carnation or borden's evaporated milk
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 oz chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Cream together margarine or butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder together, Mix alternating flour and evaporated milk into butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 350* until lightly golden brown on bottoms and sides.
