Slow-Cooker BBQ Pork Pita Sandwiches image

Who makes the best BBQ pulled pork sandwiches in town! You do! At least, you will-when you try this blissfully simple slow-cooker recipe.

1 boneless pork loin (3 lb.)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 onion, sliced
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
12 whole wheat pita breads, cut in half

Steps:

  • Cut meat into large chunks; place in slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder and cumin; top with onions and bay leaf. Add orange juice and 3/4 cup barbecue sauce; cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours). Remove meat from slow cooker; cut into small pieces or shred with fork. Place in medium bowl. Add remaining barbecue sauce and 1 cup of the cooking liquid; mix lightly.
  • Spoon into pita pockets just before serving.
