Shrimp & Crawfish cornbread image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 box jiffy cornbread mix
1 can cream corn
4 eggs
1 1/2 c gouda cheese
1 1/2 mozzarella cheese
3 Tbsp cajun seasoning
1 stick melted butter
1 fl chicken stock
chopped bacon
2 c medium raw shrimp
frozen crawfish (optional)-good handful
1/2 c green onion

Steps:

  • 1. Pour cornbread mix in bowl with creamed corn, eggs, cheeses, & cajun seasoning. Add melted butter & chicken stock.
  • 2. Stir in bacon, shrimp, crawfish, & onion & mix well. Pour into a hot cast iron skillet with a little hot grease.
  • 3. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Butter the top & serve.
