SHELLS AND GRAPES image

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 ounces uncooked shell macaroni
4 cups red seedless grapes
1/2 cup chopped scallions
3 onces Roquefort or blue cheese, crumbled
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 medium clove garlic, finely minced
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup toassted walnut halves, optional

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni "al dente". Drain. While hot, combine with grapes, scallions, cheese, salt, pepper and garlic. Combine mayonnaise and lemon juice. Mix well. Stir into macaroni until evenlymixed. Refrigerate, covered, for several hours or overnight. Before serving, toss gently. Add walnuts if desired
