Seattle Chicken Pot Pie? image

this new chicken pot pie recipe i create,with a boost of Seattle hot dog topping?

Number Of Ingredients 14

2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
4 skinless,boneless chicken breasts,cut into strips
1 teaspoon(s) sea salt
2 teaspoon(s) seasoned pepper
1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
2 tablespoon(s) margarine
1 large vidalia sweet onion,peeled and sliced
5 fresh jalapenos,diced
1/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
2 tablespoon(s) ranch seasoning
1 cup(s) heavy cream
1 can(s) condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 package(s) cream cheese,softened
2 unbaked pie crusts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add chicken breast strips,saute for 5 minutes or until browned.Season with sea salt,black pepper and garlic pepper.Remove from heat.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat,cook sliced vidalia onion and diced jalapenos in margarine until soft and translucent.Stir in flour and ranch seasoning.
  • Slowly stir in heavy cream,cream of mushroom soup and cream cheese.Simmer over medium-low heat until thick. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Line a 10 inch deep-dish pie plate with the bottom crust.Place chicken mixture in the bottom crust.Pour hot cream mixture over.
  • Cover with top crust.Seal and crimp the edges.Pierce the top crust in a few places with a fork.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the pie crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
