Steps:
- 1. combine scallops, wine, broth, and salt in large sauce pan and add just enough water to cover the scallops.
- melt butter and sauce mushrooms and shallots, cover and cook 5 minutes
- uncover and cook 4 more minutes and add remaining 2 tablespoon of butter
- turn broiler on and put rack 6 inches from top
- arrange scallops in a single layer and pour cream sauce over it. Broil 2-3 minutes
