1 lb fish fillet, cut into large chunks
3 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 cup pine nuts
1 cup rice
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water

Steps:

  • sprinkle cumin on fish.
  • saute fish in butter until brown
  • take out brown onions and lastly pine nuts watch them they burn.
  • butter casserole
  • layer onionpine nut mixture
  • then fish then rice repeat pour over salted water cover
  • bake 350 oven for 1 hour or until rice is cooked uncover last 15 minutes.
