SAVORY TURKEY POT PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 cup chopped onion
8oz sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup flour
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
16oz diced cooked turkey
1 cup milk
2 cans (14.5oz each) chicken broth
1 1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 cups Minute brown rice
1 can (8 count) Pillsbury Grands

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. 2. Cook onions & mushrooms in hot oil for 5 minutes in a large saucepan. 3. Mix in all remaining ingredients except rice & biscuits. Bring to a boil, stirring occassionally. 4. Stir in rice. 5. Pour into 9x13" baking dish. Place biscuits on top of filling. 6. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. (Prepare and bake at same time.)
