Sautéed Mushrooms with Spinach image

I love spinach and mushrooms so this recipe is the perfect way to combine them in a delicious side dish.

2 Tbsp butter
1 small container of fresh button mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp minced garlic
1 large bag of fresh spinach
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare the mushrooms by wiping gently with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt that may be on them; do not rinse them in water. Slice the mushrooms.
  • 2. Heat butter in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir until mushrooms are tender. Reduce heat to medium.
  • 3. Add spinach; cook and stir 5 minutes or until spinach is wilted but still bright green.
  • 4. Season with in salt and pepper; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
