Steps:
- Saute garlic, onions & peppers in a medium sized Dutch Oven with Olive Oil. I like to cut the onion & pepper in larger chunks. Allow them to get soft. Dice up the sausage and toss it in. Let the mixture heat up on medium heat. Add tomato products. Add 1 - 2 cans of water with the paste. Mix Well. Add spices & sugar. Bring to a boil & reduce heat. Add Baking Soda (sometimes a touch more of soda is needed to take away the bitterness). Let simmer for 30 - 45 minutes. Heat up some pasta and go to town.
