SALTED CARAMEL ICING image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 C unsalted butter
1 C dark brown sugar
1/3 C heavy cream
1/2 t salt
2-4 C powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. melt butter in pot 2. add in brown sugar, cream over medium heat, stirring until sugar is fully dissolved 3. add salt, allow to bubble for exactly 3 minutes 4. allow to cool 15 minutes at room temp 5. with a fork beat in powdered sugar by the 1/2 C until desired consistency is reached (i used 2 C powdered sugar)
