Salmon with Ginger Glaze image

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 Salmon Fillets (8oz ea)
1/3 cup Water
1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
4 Minced Garlic Cloves
1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Chopped Basil

Steps:

  • Heat oven or grill to 450 degrees (Med-High heat)
  • Season salmon fillets with salt. If using dried basil, sprinkle on salmon with salt
  • Place salmon on pre-heated, oiled grill or rack. Cook for 10-12 min.
  • While salmon is cooking, combine all remaining ingredients (except basil) in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer until barely thickened (3 min)
  • Sprinkle basil on top of salmon (if using fresh)
  • Spoon glaze over basil and salmon.
