RUTH'S APPLE CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups sugar
4 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup oil
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons vanilla
Sauce

Steps:

  • Sprinkle sugar over apples, sift dry ingredients and add to apples.Add rest of ingredients and stir only till blended. Put into 13" x 9" greased pan Bake 45-50 minutes at 350°
