Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a large, heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, syrup, butter, bourbon, vanilla & salt. Heat to boiling point. Stirring frequently. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove pan from heat & let cool.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with half & half until light and frothy. Mix eggs into cooled syrup, beating until well incorporated. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie crust.
- Bake 45-50 minutes until toothpick in center comes out clean.
- Serve warm or at room temperature
