RUM SAUCE FOR CHRISTMAS PUDDING image

1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
3 tablespoons rum
1/2 cup beaten cream

Steps:

  • 1. Beat egg whites until stiff. 2. Mix together sugar, egg yolks and rum. 3. Add stiffly beaten egg whites to rum mixture. 4. Cook until thick. 5. Add 1/2 cup of beaten cream. 6. Chill and serve.
